Samantha Evilsizer served as editor for a nonprofit for six years until she and her husband, Joshua, formed their own freelance editing company, Turned.
Nearly ten years in the field of editing, light rewriting, and creating copy content has given Samantha a varied and vast amount of experience. Her clients include New York Times Best Sellers, blog writers, self-published authors, website owners, and companies.
Samantha has pieced together books from inception to publication, working closely with editors from major publishing houses and dozens of different authors. She regularly collaborates with website developers, creating content that draws readers and keeps them engaged. Working alongside authors, bloggers, editors, publishers, and developers has taught Samantha how to compose strong writing and tight material. As a published author herself, she shares an inside view into each writer’s perspective.
When her fingers aren’t on the keyboard, they’re planting veggies or picking flowers in the gardens she and Joshua built. Canning their harvest, keeping up with their families, and serving their community keep their calendar full. They aim daily to walk out Micah 6:8: act justly, love kindness, and walk humbly with their God.
